EditTools Online helps you work with images online. This page explains what we collect, why we keep it, and how long it stays. We do not sell your personal information.

Files you upload

When you use a tool, we temporarily store the files you send and the results so the file task can finish and you can download them. Those files are removed automatically after about 24 hours. Save anything you need before that window closes.

Some tools preview or analyze images in your session. If a file is sent to our servers to finish processing, the same short retention rules apply. Uploads are processed for your request only. They are not posted to a public gallery.

Support messages

If you send a message from our Support page, we store your name, email address, subject, and message so we can reply. We may also keep limited security signals (such as a one-way fingerprint of connection details) to reduce spam and abuse. We do not use support messages for advertising.

Accounts

If you create an account, we store the details needed to sign you in and show your history, such as your name, email address, a protected password, and past downloads. Signing in uses a secure browser cookie. Account questions can go through Support.

Site usage

We keep simple first-party counts of how tools are used so we can improve reliability. When configured, we may also use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager to understand traffic. Those services may set their own cookies or similar identifiers.

Advertising

We may show ads on EditTools Online in the future. If we do, advertising partners may collect information such as your device type, approximate location, pages you visit, and cookie or advertising identifiers to show and measure ads. That may include interest-based advertising where allowed. Ads, when shown, are covered by this policy and our Cookies page. We do not use your uploaded files or support messages to build ad profiles.

We use cookies needed to run the site, and may use analytics and advertising cookies when those features are on. See Cookies for details and how to control them.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time. For data questions, send a message through Support. We will respond as soon as we can.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
