What is EXIF metadata?
EXIF, IPTC, and XMP tags travel with your photos. They can include camera brand, lens, shutter settings, edit history, copyright, and precise GPS coordinates.
Removing metadata does not change what the picture looks like — it removes the invisible trail that can identify where and how it was taken.
